Inspired by the smooth beautiful purple agates, the artist used the art of resin mixed with different pigments to recreate its beauty.  You can see three glass like purple agates laying flat on the canvas, each surrounded by a rough texture made to mimic the mineral crystal formation that a real geode brings.  Painted on a birch wood cradle panel.  Ready to hang or to be displaced on an easel.
